BA Business and Law
This course will aim to provide candidates with a combination of both a legal and business understanding of the law. The student will learn just how the business and law worlds work along side each other within comparable jurisdictions. Students will then be able to act independently in managing and planning all tasks within areas they have studied with as little guidance as possible.
Each of the three years of the duration of this course shall be split up into two criteria subsections with one being law and the other business. In year one the student will be involved in completing modules such as Law Modules, Legal Skills, Contract Law and Public Law.
Business Modules, Introduction to Business and Management, Introduction to Marketing, Introduction to Economics and also Management and Financial Accounting. Year two will comprise of topic modules such as Law Modules, Criminal Law, Tort, Equity and the Law of Trusts. Business Modules, Principles of Organization and Management, Principles of Marketing, Business Information Systems and Corporate Governance and Regulation. The final year modules will be as follows Law Modules, European Union Law, Commercial Law, Public International Law and Land Law.
Business Modules, International Business, Marketing Strategy and Management, Human resource Management, Entrepreneurship and Business Planning. The candidate will be scored on their course work and dissertations at the end of each ac academic year with the total score being forwarded to their final result. The students will then be required to sit a final set of exams which shall be marked both internally and externally by an accredited examination body. Other Quality law courses are the law and criminology degree as well as the Banking and Law Degree.
Once the student has completed this course they will find job opportunities in various areas of practice with jobs available in Management of International Finance, Marketing, Trading standards, Local Authority Positions and Civil Service Positions.
